In a significant development for Punjab’s industrial and healthcare manufacturing sectors, Tynor Orthotics has launched a state-of-the-art textile production facility, Ortech Textiles, in Mohali. Inaugurated by Punjab Industries Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, the Rs. 300-crore unit spans six acres and will cater exclusively to Tynor’s internal raw material needs. The initiative is poised to drastically reduce dependence on imports—particularly from China—and generate employment for up to 1,000 people.
