In a bold move to reshape its industrial landscape and align with the national push toward clean mobility, the Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled plans to transform Kanpur into a premier electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing hub. With an investment of approximately Rs. 700 crore, the initiative—part of the Kanpur Metropolitan Development Vision 2030—aims to develop a state-of-the-art EV park near Bhimsen.
