In a deeply distressing incident, a student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, hailing from Delhi, died by suicide after reportedly jumping from the terrace of a hostel building on campus. The student, who was enrolled in one of the institute's undergraduate programs, was found critically injured and later declared dead despite emergency medical intervention.
