In a decisive regulatory move, the Indian government has banned 25 over-the-top (OTT) platforms, including ULLU and ALTBalaji, citing their continued dissemination of obscene and pornographic material. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, acting on multiple complaints and evidence of repeated violations, deemed the content hosted by these platforms as detrimental to public decency and morality.
