Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, a leading automotive technology manufacturer, reported a 14% year-on-year decline in net profit for the first quarter of FY26, citing cost pressures and currency headwinds as contributing factors. The company posted a net profit of Rs. 102 crore for the April–June quarter, down from Rs. 119 crore in the corresponding period last year. Despite a modest rise in revenue, operational expenses and softer margins weighed on the bottom line.
