In a significant counterterrorism breakthrough, Jammu and Kashmir Police dismantled an inter-State terror network and seized nearly 2,900 kg of improvised explosive device (IED)-making material in a coordinated operation across multiple regions. Seven individuals suspected of facilitating and supplying explosives to terror outfits have been taken into custody. Investigators believe the recovered cache was part of a larger plan to engineer attacks in the Union Territory and possibly beyond its borders.
