Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has completed its long-planned merger with Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG), bringing the contract manufacturing unit fully under the automaker’s ownership and operational control. The consolidation is expected to streamline production, improve efficiency, and strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s strategic positioning as demand for passenger vehicles continues to rise.
