Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), the hospitality arm of the Tata Group, has announced the addition of a new Gateway-branded property in the spiritually significant town of Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The 101-key hotel reflects IHCL’s strategic emphasis on expanding its presence in religious and cultural destinations across India. This latest signing strengthens IHCL’s footprint in Rajasthan, bringing the company’s total to 31 hotels in the state, including eight currently under development. IHCL's decision to establish a Gateway hotel in Nathdwara is rooted in a broader strategy to tap into India’s expanding spiritual tourism market. The Nathdwara property, which will feature 101 guest rooms, is being developed in collaboration with Madan Singh Chauhan, a regional hospitality entrepreneur. The Gateway brand is known for offering midscale comfort with an emphasis on warmth and efficient service, aligning well with the needs of pilgrims and leisure tourists.
