India’s Defence Tech Takes Flight: Paras Signs Rs. 22 Crore Anti-Drone Deal with France’s CERBAIR

Paras Anti Drone Technologies, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies, has signed a Rs. 22 crore agreement with France-based CERBAIR to supply cutting-edge counter-drone systems. The deal marks a major milestone in India’s evolving role as a global exporter of advanced defence technologies. Under the agreement, CERBAIR will procure up to 30 units of the CHIMERA 200, a man-portable counter-UAV system equipped with wideband detection and neutralisation capabilities.

Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN), a leading Indian engineering and manufacturing solutions provider, has announced an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Lauak Group, a French aerospace parts manufacturer with a legacy spanning five decades. The transaction, revealed at the Paris Air Show, marks a strategic move aimed at expanding Wipro’s global aerospace footprint. While the deal's valuation and stake size remain undisclosed, the newly formed entity—Wipro Lauak—will operate under a joint governance model.
