In a significant move to pass on the benefits of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, Amul has announced a reduction in the prices of over 700 dairy products. Effective from September 22, 2025, the price cuts encompass a wide range of items, including butter, ghee, cheese, paneer, ice cream, and other dairy products. This decision aligns with the government's GST 2.0 initiative, which aims to simplify tax structures and reduce consumer prices on essential goods.

In a landmark move, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (Amul) has partnered with Spain's renowned dairy cooperative, COVAP, to introduce Amul Milk in Spain and across the European Union. The partnership will initially launch in major Spanish cities such as Madrid and Barcelona, with plans for further expansion across Europe. This collaboration not only marks Amul’s first entry into the European market but also underscores the global reach of Indian cooperatives.
