VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has announced an investment of ₹544 crore to set up a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The plant will produce 12-speed Automated Manual Transmissions (AMTs) for heavy-duty trucks, catering to both domestic and select international markets within the Volvo Group’s network.
