IHCL to Restore Taj Pushpabanta Palace, Deepens Hospitality Footprint in Northeast India

Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality enterprise under the Tata Group, has signed a strategic agreement with the Government of Tripura to restore and operate the historic Taj Pushpabanta Palace in Agartala as a luxury heritage hotel. This 100-key property will be refurbished in line with the iconic Taj legacy, aiming to revitalize tourism and contribute to the cultural economy of the Northeast. As part of its “Accelerate 2030” roadmap, IHCL plans to expand its northeastern portfolio to 30 hotels by the end of the decade, backed by a Rs.
